چکیده
This article focuses on developing a finite-element method (FEM) model for large capacitors’ thermal modeling and reliability analysis. Thermal capacitors is critical since the capacitor’s lifetime depends maximum temperature. Typically, have been modeled as solid element, not considering internal geometry, leading to temperature estimation errors requiring extensive testing adjust model. The presented methodology develop considers geometry obtain reliable model, with sufficient simplicity adapt any electrolytic capacitor. To achieve good results, winding an anisotropic material reproduce appropriately behavior of layers aluminum paper soaked in electrolyte. results simulations match experimental closely, therefore validating utility
